Cisneros Media, the corporate division encompassing the Cisneros’ media and entertainment businesses around the world, hosted a semi-final round of judging for the 2015 International Emmy® Awards in Los Angeles. A panel of distinguished industry professionals, producers and writers gathered on July 22nd at the Mark Goodson Screening Room in the Louis B. Mayer Library, thanks to the support of the American Film Institute (AFI), to evaluate the works submitted by their colleagues from around the world for International Emmy® consideration.

Moreover, we are pleased to count on the quality of judges who attended the event, bringing together prominent institutions that recognize creation of high-quality productions and entertainment content to further the evolution of an industry in pursuit of bringing the finest world entertainment to audiences everywhere,” stated Marcello Coltro, Executive Vice President of Content Distribution of Cisneros Media.
On behalf of the American Film Institute, the panel of judges featured Joe Petricca, Vice Dean of the AFI Conservatory, and the event was supervised by Nathaniel Brendel, Emmy Judging Director for the International Academy of Arts Sciences & Television.
“We continue our work of selecting the industry’s best professionals from around the world in securing that all entrees are thoroughly screened and evaluated. The support of our members is vital for the continuous success and integrity of the nominee process, resulting in the unveiling of the winners at our gala event this coming November,” commented Nathaniel Brendel from the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
The final round of judging will take place in September, and the nominees in each category will be announced in October from Cannes, France. The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will reveal the winners during the 43rd Annual International Emmy® Awards presentation, which will take place on November 23rd in New York City.
