Cisneros Studios, a principal independent producers of Spanish-language programming in the United States, today announced that production has begun on a new variety show hosted by the renowned Mexican comedian and actress, Roxanna Castellanos.
Simply titled “Roxanna,” the program is being produced in one of Cisneros Studios’ state-of-the-art sound stages in the heart of Miami, and it combines celebrity interviews, contests, monologues, and comic sketches, as well as musical performances. The show’s format also contains humorous situations, and features extraordinary people as guests, in addition to the typical discussions with balanced points of viewpoints on current affairs.

As TV host, Roxanna’s career includes work with Adal Ramones in “Otro Rollo,” participation in the morning show “Hoy,” as well as other stellar programs in her native Mexico, such as “La Parodia,” “Vecinos,” and “El Bar Provoca.” She also participated in the VIP edition of the reality show “Big Brother.” Among the many accomplishments of a life dedicated to show business, Roxanna has successfully ventured into theater, where she won awards for her break-through performances, and she’s had roles in a number of telenovelas , including “Infierno en el paraíso,” “Primer amor... a mil por hora,” and “Alegrijes y rebujos.”
“When news came to me about this show, I immediately knew that this was my life project. To be able to be behind a show that bears my name represents so many things to me. I want to demonstrate all I have learned throughout my career; I want to be me, just as I am… I want people to see the real Roxanna,” emphasized the Mexican host.
