Cisneros Media, the corporate division that encompasses the Cisneros’ media and entertainment businesses throughout the Americas, announced the expansion and re-branding of its state-of-the-art production facility in the heart of Miami, which will now operate under the name of Cisneros Studios. Today’s unveiling was presided by Gustavo Cisneros and Adriana Cisneros, Cisneros Chairman and CEO, respectively, who were accompanied by corporate executives and employees, including COO, Miguel Dvorak; Cisneros Media President, Jonathan Blum; and Cisneros Studios EVP of Operations, Juan Carlos Sosa.
“Changing the name of our Miami production facilities to Cisneros Studios marks the evolution of the company’s business plan to become one of the most comprehensive independent production facilities in South Florida. We are determined to make Cisneros Studios a creative hub for the advancement and production of entertainment content, no matter the market, audience, language or platform,” emphasized Blum.
Cisneros Studios EVP, Sosa, stated that “we have made a multi-million dollar investment to transform Cisneros Studios into a full-service independent facility with more than 120,000 sq. ft. and capable of housing major productions, in addition to our daily operations of producing some of the industry’s leading television content for the U.S. Hispanic market and abroad, from captivating telenovelas and tele-series to variety and talk shows.”
Founded and operating as Venevision Studios since 2004, today Cisneros Studios incorporates the largest independent production company of Spanish-language programming in the United States, Venevision Productions, which annually produces more than 1,000 hours of the industry’s leading entertainment content that is distributed around the world by Cisneros Media Distribution in more than 100 countries and 20 languages.
